Area 39 Pattaya is located in Tree Town, Soi Buakhao and is probably the largest venue in the Treetown Night Market zone. It is Thai owned and aimed primarily at a Thai customer base. Non Thais are welcome although you will always be a distinct minority. Described as a “bar and bistro” it is basically a live music and dining venue – typical of hundreds of similar establishments you will find across every town in Thailand. Similar to other venues at the top end of Pattaya’s 3rd Road amongst others.
The format is the same as all similar venues all over Thailand – you sit and eat and the entertainment alternates between live banks, piped music or DJs. Some have coyote dancers as part of this rotation but haven’t seen this yet here. That may change post COVID.
